Format:

Number of participants:
8 to 65
Workshop or programme delivered:
During these half day workshops the thinking and behaviour of the teams were explored and challenged in order to find new more effective and modernised approaches. In what started off as a tense session, techniques to improve engagement were shared and applied in order to facilitate more effective team working. Additionally, the learning and application of research supported the team in order to encourage them to get to know each other in a different environment. Methods of communication were explored in order for participants to feel their opinions were valued and empowerment was increased by encouraging participants to physically move and do things differently. By using techniques to elicit changed thinking, the team enjoyed learning new ways to approach participation and gain collective buy in, which will ultimately lead to increased efficiencies, as well as improved health and wellbeing.
Participant testimonials:
Participants described these days as fun and enjoyable approaches to learning and application of research. They were anticipating applying the tools and techniques for improved communication, as well as looking forward to increased engagement and team working. After challenging their own thinking and behaviour, they felt valued and empowered to take better care of their health and wellbeing at work, whilst supporting each other by committing to actions and holding each other accountable.
